A huge well done to Amy from MagiKats Alloa!
We want to give a big shout out to Amy for all her hard work and success at MagiKats Alloa. Amy joined MagiKats in 2020 to get some help with her National 5 mathematics and she recently got an A!
Amy’s father explains what led him to enrol Amy at MagiKats and the difference it’s made:
“We enrolled Amy because she was struggling with maths. She’s also quite shy and we wanted to give her the best opportunity we could to succeed. We felt it would be good for her and could only help. And it certainly did.
It’s given her more self-belief and has raised her ability in maths considerably. It has also given her the confidence to attempt a higher level qualification which she had previously thought unattainable. Prior to attending MagiKats, she was set to achieve a grade C. I am particularly pleased that she has now seen that with the assistance of the tuition and her own hard work, a standard far higher than her own expectations was achievable and she recently got an A in National 5 mathematics.
Being able to keep up with her fellow students and friends in class has also given her confidence and it’s been brilliant seeing her realise her true potential. MagiKats provided her with the platform to progress further when that initial belief wasn't there.”
So does Amy’s father have any advice for other parents who are thinking about private tuition for their child?
“To anyone considering enrolling their child, I would encourage them to go ahead with it. From our own experience it was invaluable. I was very impressed. It was very professional, the system was explained well and it has been really beneficial. The continuity provided certainly helped too.
In our case, it was so good for Amy in a lot of ways and she enjoyed it.”
