Student Success Story: Karis from MagiKats Woodford Green!

We were so thrilled recently to hear about how well nine-year-old Karis from Woodford is getting on. She only joined Sabeena and her team at MagiKats last September, but her mum has told us the difference in Karis already is like night and day and she’s thrilled about Karis’s progress.

Karis joined MagiKats because she was struggling with her maths, so much so that her mother described maths schoolwork and homework as a chore and thinks that if she hadn’t joined MagiKats, Karis would have completely shut down and refused to do maths work at all, she hated it that much. Which is why, when a friend recommended the local MagiKats, she enrolled Karis. Since then, Karis’s parents are delighted with her progress:

“We enrolled Karis just to get her maths level up. Beyond that, we had no specific goal other than ensuring she is happy. But since joining, we’ve seen a massive difference. Her confidence has skyrocketed, especially in maths and telling the time. She is much happier to do her schoolwork and homework. She used to need help from the TA but doesn’t anymore and as a result, we’d now like her to stay at least until the end of primary school in two years’ time. I’m so happy that I found MagiKats and Sabeena. She’s been very encouraging and kind to Karis since we started. To any parents who are thinking about enrolling their child, I’d say go for it, I have nothing but positive things to say about MagiKats in Woodford.”

We’re so pleased that Karis is doing so well, but we also wanted to know what Karis likes about MagiKats.

“She has said she likes the 1 on 1 time, and she loves the times tables wrap ups. She enjoys going, is learning while having fun and gets really excited about the prizes and praise.”

A massive well-done Karis from all of us here at MagiKats and keep up the good work. You’re a star!
