It’s always important to celebrate life’s successes, however large or small, which is why we were delighted to hear about how well Ruby from Stevenage is getting on.
Ruby joined MagiKats because her parents felt that she could just do with a little extra help to ensure she kept up with the class and to help build her confidence. Ruby’s parent had heard good things about MagiKats from other parents, so they booked her a place at the centre.
When we caught up with them, we asked Ruby’s parents how she was getting on.
“In terms of an improvement in Ruby’s confidence, the results have been amazing and she’s no longer afraid of putting her hand up in class. She’s also more confident amongst her peers and not so afraid of making mistakes as she now understands it’s all part of learning. Having the same tutor each week helps create a relaxing environment and the hands-on activities really help ensure that the learning sinks in. Ruby also loves all the incentives she gets from MagiKats, and we can see a great sense of pride when we tell her how well she’s doing. In fact, at her last parents’ evening her teacher said she wished every child in her class had improved this much and how academically, she is now exactly where she needs to be.”
Ruby’s mother went on to explain, “I know I am giving Ruby the help she needs to give her a good start in life. I completely trust the programme and it’s helped Ruby so much. For any parents considering enrolling their child, my advice would be, don’t hesitate!”
