A huge well done to Amelie, age 6, who has had a fantastic year at MagiKats. Amelie joined MagiKats in March 2023 because she was struggling to keep up at school. Amelie’s parents wanted to try and improve her attention span and give her some extra help so that she could catch up and stay on track at school.
Amelie’s parents were attracted to MagiKats by the small tutor groups and the informal feel of the workshops as well as the fact that the centre was close to their home and affordable.
Amelie, who wants to be a vet when she grows up, smashed her recent phonics test beating her predicted score of 4/32 with an amazing 17/32. Mum and Dad say she is now working better at school, her reading has improved, she has almost caught up to her expected level and has lots more confidence.
Amelie seems to be loving her time at MagiKats time too and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of session. Plus, she really enjoys the rewards she gets!
